ESSEX HONEY

i started listening to this album but I haven't gotten all the way through.
i really liked the first few singles...
"hard to let you go, i see you and i know it's always raining"
is constantly in my head from the song "the field"
i'm really excited to give this album a proper rinse and repeat listen.
i hate to hear dev is grieving but i'm greiving too and so it feels like a special medicine...
will report back when i have more thoughts

HIGHLIGHTS
music from high school, c. 2008-2012
so i just switched from sp0tify to apple music for obvious reasons
(apple isn't faultless but i couldn't knowingly support a warmonger..)
anyway, i found all the music i used to listen to back in high school
and i made a playlist of some of the highlights.
i choose to include more b-side tracks of popular artists in hopes that maybe you'd discover a song that you hadn't heard before.
i got my music taste from my older brother (12 yrs older than me)
so i listened to a lot of men regretably,
also grieving the loss of regina spektor, she used to be my favorite artist and biggest musical inspiration
but i can no longer justifiably support her :(
it's sad.
